Plus Range
With Ecoocel Plus we offer high-performance thermoformed cellulose trays for all kinds of foods, from ready meals to be heated in the oven or microwave to fresh products requiring a shelf life of more than 7 days.
They are suitable for heat sealing and provide all the advantages of single-use plastic trays while extending food shelf life. The rigorous quality controls met by Ecoocel Plus guarantee food safety in line with regulations—and also protect health in areas not regulated for plastic packaging: absence of NIAS, nervous-system disruptors, bisphenols, phthalates, fluorinated substances…
Ecoocel Plus uses renewable, plant-based cellulose in its manufacture. The inner coating of these food trays can be compostable depending on the requirements to be covered by the packaging.
Why Ecoocel Plus?
In its 100% compostable version, Ecoocel Plus holds TÜV’s OK Compost Industrial certification under standard EN 13432, which means that at the end of its life it can be recycled as paper/cardboard or placed in the organic waste stream.
Its manufacturing process uses green energy to reduce greenhouse-gas emissions.
Ecoocel Pad
Ecoocel Pad is a compostable absorbent pad designed for use with Ecoocel trays.
It is made from highly absorbent cellulose fibres and bio-based bioplastic. Its strong liquid-retention capacity (up to 1,300 g/m²) makes it ideal for the food industry, while maintaining a soft, pleasant feel.
Its cellulose content is over 99%, and it is available in different sizes and thicknesses to suit your needs.
